Mary Anne + Lester Same Day Edit (SDE)

I guess we are just blessed to keep having fun and great clients to work with. Having skills behind the camera is just part of what makes a video good. The venue, music, story line, edit and personality all help make a video come together. This is one of my favorite SDE’s and I think I can safely say that Mary Anne aka Mae and Lester LOVED it, because after if was done playing. They ran over to me and I was basically in the middle of a huddle with a bunch of people jumping up and down cheering..

The Day started off at 8am at The Westin in Millbrae, CA. I showed up 30 minutes ahead of time to grab some exterior shots of the hotel. Then we went to Lester’s suite. When we walked in first thing we noticed was the table lined up with gifts and bottles. We grabbed some shots of the Lester and his football team of groomsmen before heading to Mae’s room to cover her and her entourage. We had about an hour of preparation coverage before they had their first look. Then it was off to San Francisco, where they tied the knot at St. Ignatius. After the ceremony we headed over to Legion of Honor. When we got their we found out it was closed for photos. Most people would have been super upset but having the great personalities they have Lester and Mae just went with the flow and said “ok well lets just take pictures out front”.. worker at The Legion of Honors even said that “This is the happiest wedding party I’ve ever seen” After about 45 minutes it was back to The Westin for Cocktail hour and the Reception.
